My new 88 tbird sport

I bought this last week for $800. It is a sport with a 5.0L and aod. The trunck is rusted bad and the door bottoms are rusted too but may be able to be repaird. I hate the exterior color so I will repaint a nice dark metalic blue. Interior needs to be cleaned and so does the trunk carpet.

My plans are to find a 7.5L and a E4OD to use ad a drivetrain. I will swap in the rear turbocoupe diff assembly with brake and also the front brakes too. I also want to get the turbocoupe nose, header pannel, hood and body side trim.

It looks to be in great shape for a Canadian car:D Please, please don't change the color. I really like that color on T-birds. If you could get it to Chicago I'd give you $900 for it;)

Wow, you got a hell of a deal! I bought an $800 car and it looked HORRIBLE! Cars that look that good for that cheap are pretty rare so be happy with your find!

Great find! I like the color as well! You have found one in good shape. Even the moldings look good. My car has the typical lower door seam rust and a little rear window molding channel rust and it was always a Southern car.

I have a little door rust and the trunk lid is bad....but all in all she is clean. The interior needs to be pulled and cleaned.

Huh. I can not add more pics. I try the image link and it does not work.

do you have a photobucket account?

if not..well, makes pic linking a LOT easier. ;)

use the image url, just paste the code in here, and it'll show up.

Also, I too would keep the paint, it looks good with all the trim...not too overdone, but tasteful, and classy. :D

Very nice bird yo, looks very nice just as is. Keep us updated on the 7.5 swap, I'd like to see how that turn out. I also agree on the color, keep it the same. My father's bird is that same color and I love it.

Peace,

I don't know. The color is to much of a chick color. Probably because the girls at work like the color. I was thinking of a deep blue color that I saw on a Toyota or Lexus suv.
