Quick 2.3 Question

Do you have to take the intake loose to remove the fuel rail? I want to clean/test my injectors, and just wondered if the gurus have any tricks.

You don't have to remove the upper, but it might make it easier to get the rail out, esp if it's been on a while and the injector o-rings have gotten a little hard.

How do you do it then? Take the bolts out, disconnect the lines, pop it up, and slide it out through the front?

I did one of these about 15 years ago, but I took the intake off. I am trying to save money not having to buy gaskets and such... I am gonna have to cash in my change to buy o-rings (I'm that broke right now!)

I just wanted to pull them and "test fire" them and clean the screens.

For the record, I was able to do it without pulling the intake. I did have to go get a duckbill line tool though ($12).
