How important is this hose

1988 tbird 5.0 Ok so while removing the exahust i broke a small 1/2' to 3/4' tube that comes off of the exahust and back up to a line kinda runs parrell to the trans dipstic. What should I do I dont really want to replace the exhaust can i just plug it.

walker #35574 is supposed to be a replacement

you'll prolly have to replace the check valve also unles you can seperate the crimped connection

Delete the smog stuff,get a short belt,done.

Yeah. LOL.
 
I do actually still have my air pump, same belt, but getting rid of the piping and the lines going to the heads made it so much better to work in that area. Space ftw.
