Adblock alone makes FF worth it. Back when I was on dialup I couldn't stand using IE on the few sites that required using it because of all the ads (those little flash ads take forever to download via dialup). I still can't believe my father uses IE - web pages look entirely different on his computer because they're full of ads I don't have to see :D
