3.8 head gasket ? Reply #1 – November 14, 2007, 11:26:22 AM I used the PermaTorque Blue Felpro's when I repaired my head gaskets. They work well because they seal any surface imperfections on the block or heads. The MLSTM require a perfectly smooth sealing surface. You would want to get the block and heads surfaced if you plan to use the MLSTM. Clean the block and heads really well with a razor blade and use the PermaTorque Blues with new torque to yield bolts Quote Selected
