Carm, that apple tree looks kinda rotten in the middle.
I've got one here that's the same way, you can knock it down with one good fart on a calm day. It's gonna come down before spring, I just know.
Glad to hear you made out with nothing more serious than that.

Wow glad everything came out ok. It could have been worse.

You know we never get hurricanes in Chicago. Sometimes it pays to live in the middle of the country ;)

Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for asking. :P

We were out of power, and it was looking to be our first full day with Seamus at home, but we packed the family up and stayed at the in-laws the night after. (Antigonish and areas got their power a day earlier than we did) But we're home now, and we never did get that full day in yet.

I got smart and ratchet-strapped the BBQ and Patio Chairs to the deck before the winds got too high, and flipped the patio table upside down. The only thing I forgot to secure was the little garbage can on the deck, which just tipped over. Oz (our younger dog) got into a diaper and tore it up on the lawn, though. That sucked.

The T-bird survived unscathed. :D
