Ahhh, I saw that car when Bill came down for a meet I held last year. It's flat out gorgeous.

It's a nice car , I just have to get these issues worked out and hopefully its smooth sailing

Did someone say speakers? If you have the dough, I recommend SoundWaves on US13 (near PA420 in Prospect Park). They're very, very good.

Yeah I seen that place before, right near the BJ's right..

AHHH  a 96 LSC!

friggin nice dude. The HIDs rock dont they? The 96 LSC was the only 1st gen car to get them. Pray the bulbs never burn out. But also enjoy the fact that your headlights are worth well over $500 used.

I miss my moms 96 LSC. I wished it was mine instead of hers. It went to a very good home though, one of the more known mark viii guys.

Check the 1-2 acspoogeulator in the trans. Well known trans problem there, causes really hard 1-2 shift and can end up destroying the trans if left alone.

The tach is usually a simple fix, just take the needle off and put it back on.

Throw a posi in the rear, and 4.10's or 4.30's while youre at it.

The true duals on the LSC are nice arent they? I hate those huge trash can sized lers though. Id throw some bullets on there or something.

Yeah the HID's are nice, I can't find anywhere that has the bulbs new only places I see with HID-9500 bulbs is on ebay and at $150-$250 each and their used which is pretty scary. From what I read sylvania stopped making them cause Ford never contacted them to continue production or some . So the first car in North America to have HIDs will also be shiznit out of luck in a short time.

I read that about the tach today, something about pealing off the decal and reattching it. To un-pin the needle I'm going to replace the burnt out cluster bulbs while I'm in there.

It's got 3.27's in it so I'm fine with that. And the LSC's did get a true dual exhaust.

As far as the tranny goes it doesn't have that problem but it does have a bad hesitation between 42-48 MPH only when your lightly accelerating. If I'm more than 40-50% on the throttle its fine.

Well thats what I don't understand, Billy just put that tranny in couple months ago. So I don't think its a filter/fluid issue

But thats exactly how it feels a light shutter under light acceleration.. between 42mph-50ish.

Now I can explain it better :) thanks

the HID's in the 96 LSC are the only ones of their type, in 97 they redesigned the front end of the car and they got the big headlights, 93-95 didnt have the HIDs, so the 96 LSC HID lights are perfect upgrades, and theyre well sought after.
