I know I don't post much anymore; since I lost my last cat, but a huge thanks to all for the birthday wishes.  And Vinnie, you are old.:flip:

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / TC guys: Tips for racing/launching?
I can't speak from a TC standpoint, but I've run a few different manuals at the tracks.  What I've found best to do is let the clutch out slowly, but at the same time quickly.  In other words, don't granny release it so that it fries it, but at the same time, don't dump it entirely.  Think along the lines of you only have a couple seconds to make a turn onto a street, and it's your only chance for another 20 cars each direction.

HTH.

Coming from a habitual lurker (I check the board about 4-5 times a day), I don't mind the privateness one bit.  Just means that I have to log in more often to show that I'm still alive.

User Rides / Sorry, I had to....
New updates and plans.  The '86 is now gonna end up with a 4.uh oh out of a '90 Cherokee, as well as the grey interior.  The '88 has just been lowered in the front, and I have a set of racing seats to put into it when I get time to build the brackets for it.  Here's the new pics of the stance, and the seats.  Enjoy, or not, you're choice.  Just thought I'd let everyone know I hadn't died off yet and share what I've been up to lately.

Not bad for only a year old and $175 shipped from Florida, eh?

The difference in the ZJ (Grand Cherokee) rear coils (left), and the MJ (Comanche) front coils.  All told, they brought the front end down 2".

Finished stance.

Yea, I had to take it up the RTI ramp for fun; didn't do too bad actually.

Lounge / I'd say he's adjusting...
I know a guy over in Minnesota that has been breeding both bull and english mastiffs for upwards of 20 years now.  He spends more a month on dog food than on food for the family (yes, he has papers for every one of them, and no he doesn't cross breed them).  It's just too bad that I'm not allowed to have pets here (I had to send in a written request and wait 3 months to get approval to have a fish tank and fish)  or else I'm sure I'd have a pup too.

Carm, Bam just has that innocent "I didn't do it" look in the second pic; glad he's adjusting nicely.

User Rides / Check out my "HOOPTIE".
If you call that a hooptie, I'd hate to know what I drive.  That's a very nice looking bird indeed.

Sorry, man. Was jus' kiddin' around.

It's all good, I knew ya were, but just wanted to add that there's more than excessive alcohol that can cause it is all.  You didn't hurt my feelings in the least.

*MAYHEM*, while I'm not going to say I disagree with you, I will also say that there are other causes of Cirrhosis.  One of them being diabetes.  Being a diabetic myself, I have looked into and researched this in extent.

If you have the time, give that a read.

how did he die?

The latest report I had heard was that he actually passed away last night, not this morning, and it was from Cirrhosis of the liver.

Please don't quote me on that one just yet, as I'm not 100% sure if it's correct yet or not.

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / It isn't a snowstorm until the Cougar gets stuck…
Not in a bird or cat, but I got stuck in my parking spot with my 2wd Jeep.  Last week during one of the snow storms here, the plow trucks decided to go through during the night; needless to say, it happened to be the day I was going to get my 4wd Jeep out of storage.  Went out to the truck and had a snow bank taller than the rear bumper.  GREAT!! This should be fun; pull it forward as much as I can, shift into reverse and floor it.  Didn't get anywhere, sat there for 20 minutes before I gave up and went back in the house.  I still haven't been back out there to try it again, and I'm too lazy to take a shovel out there and get rid of the bank.
