T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / 88 Cougar XR7 limited slip axle and Mustang 11" brake set up
I have an 8.8 out of a 1988 XR7 Cougar I used to own.  The axle has around 65,000 miles on it. It has a bent pass. side axle shaft, but the shaft can be replaced with one from a 7.5 rear axle.  Pick up only.  I live about an hour S. of Chicago in Kanakee IL.    Make offer. 

I also have front spindles, 4 lug rotors and front calipers from a 90 Mustang GT.  Make offer.  Rotors have surface rust from sitting.

I am selling my 88 Cougar XR7. It has 76,000 miles on it. It has a turbo coupe disk brake rear axle with 3:55 gears.  It is converted to 5 speed. The clutch, flywheel, adjustable cable and rebuilt trans. has about 20,000 miles on it. It has stock mustang headers, Mac off road H pipe and a summitt cat back with about 20,000 mies on it. It has damage to the nose and pass. side door and quarter below the moulding between the doors.  It has surface rust. NO HOLES!! 8.8 out of an 88 XR7 with drum brakes 58,000 miles needs pas. side axle shaft. The axle shaft is same as a 7.5 shaft.  $85.00

Spindles, rotors, calipers, power booster and master cylinder out of a 90 Mustang Gt.  Rotors have surface rust from sitting. $100.00

Floor shifter and trim plate for center counsel from 88 Cougar XR7 $50.00  Very nice shape taken out at 58,000 miles.

No pieces missing just broken, but need to be replaced. and the car has damage to the pass. side door and quarter panel between the wheels under the moulding. General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / T/C axle swap e brake help needed!!
I have installed a 88 disc brake T/C rear in my 88 XR7 and need help with the E brake set up.  I bought 3 new cables and have the triangle piece that holds them all together.  But I didnt take it apart (junkyard did) and I cant make heads or tails of it.  I need some pics if thay are available of the cables, mounting and all the brackets.  Any help would be great.  Thanks in advance.  Dan

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / WTB 87-88 TC manual shift boot and trim
I'm swapping in a T5 in my 88 XR7. I need the manual shift boot and trim out of a manual turbo coupe.  I also need the lower boot/seal that bolts to the trans. tunnel itself. My car only has 61,000 miles on it, and is like new inside so I'm looking for a really nice one.  Let me know    Thanks.  Dan
