It's a nice car just needs paint! Ur rite they r rare but I have a prostreet 64 falcon I'm building don't have time for 2 projects so im trading for that tc to drive back and forth to work and keep the miles down on my truck!
On Friday I'm trading my 1986 mercury capri to jay(live fast) for his very nice 88 tc... I'm all pumped up!! So I'm the newbie here first tc I have ever owned!
I'm in the process of building a 64 prostreet falcon with a built 302 with a procharger D-1 set up using a holley 650 d/p... converting it to blow thru. Found a lot of great info on turboforum.com everything that u could ever want to know.. to make my setup work better on the street my dad and I r building custom boost reference power valves to be able to lean out the mixture at idle. I personally like holley been using them for years! The edlebrock crabs r easy to work on and do work good on n/a combos but for boosted apps. I would use the holleys just my opinion.
I went to zmax dragway last year and watched pinks all out... it was cool to see it in person and watch some friends run there cars. Pass time is cool but it gets boaring after awhile!
When he first started pinks he didn't know anything about racing... it was cool when they raced for actual pink slips but then it got to commercialized and it just wasn't the same. Kinda glad that there contract didn't get renewed!
If anyone here has done the 96-98 sn95 brake setup i would like to see pics of it. i mess around with the fox mustangs and had a 96-98 set up on my gt and it made my wheels stick out like a inch on both sides... if the 96-98 set up will work on my 88 tc thats cool cause i have a complete setup in my shop! but just interested to see how that setup works on the tc... any insite on this would be great!
