Lounge / 1977-79 T-Bird polycast wheels
I drive a 1979 T-Bird as a daily driver here in Florida. My Bird came from the factory with what you've pictured: Ford Polycast wheels with trim rings and center caps. I replaced the polycast style with the more pricey cast aluminum turbine wheels (see pix) found on the Diamond Jubilee Editions and Heritage models.

The color of the rubber facing for the polycast wheels was designed to match the color of the vehicle. These are valuable wheels, hard to find, and worth $ on e-bay. My two cents worth. Tim

Very nice looking Bird. What year? Motor? mileage? manual or auto? Etc.? Original paint or repaint? Looks like Mustang 5.0 wheels. Nice. I like it. Need to move my Diamond Jubilee. Pass th eword. Thanks, Tim, FL

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / The Cross of St. Andrews on a Diamond Jubilee
Yes, you guys guessed it. I am both a Pastor, a Canadian living in Florida (married to a southern belle from Tennessee, celebrating 33 years of marital bliss), with much Scots blood in my veins--thus the cross of St. Andrews on the front of my 78 Diamond Jubilee. I restore these model of Birds (77-79) as a hobby now. Used to do 72-72 Mach 1's till the prices got too high. Want to sell this 78 Bird. Once that happens, I plan on finding the right 83-88 Bird to drive here in FL.

How do you like the chrome on the front of this Diamond Jubilee? Tim, Florida

Miscellaneous For Sale/Wanted / Turbine Wheels for 1978,79 Thunderbirds
I believe that--just a short time ago--someone on this site was looking for the ultra rare Turbine style wheels made specifically for the 1978 Thunderbird, Diamond Jubilee Edition and the 1979 Thunderbird Heritage Edition. Can't remember who it was, though.
I have such a set of four. Thank you for passing this information on to the seeker. Thanks, Tim, St. Petersburg, FL

Looks nice!  Is it possible to get pics of the exhaust manifolds, and how they clear past the steering, and starter?
Per your question, I wish I could help you. Unfortunately, since finishing the Bird, I have put it away safely in storage about 45 minutes away from me.

But I will include a pic of another 78 DJE that perhaps gives one angle that you requested. Hope it helps. Tim
