Lounge / 20year old happy meal toys
There is a collectors following for them, there is even a place that collects and sells them to other collectors. Don't know how big of a group it is, but I have seen some die hard collectors before.

Lounge / Message Board Map
Has anyone considered using something like http://www.mapservices.org to create a map for us all? I seem to recall there was a simmilar map created a few years ago on this site, however the map site changed owners and became a pay site or something. Another forum I am on has one of these maps, and it is kinda nice to see everyone located on a map.

Mine is a spinning Ford oval, I saw it and it seemed like a decent idea to use it as I have no imagination at times....LOL

Electrical Tech / High beam to low beam transiton
On the 4 eyes, the low beam bulb has two filaments. When the high beam is on it switches to another filament in the bub so you have all four sealed beams on. Though I know if the low beam filament was on in there as well it would be brighter, the bulbs may get too hot and cause something to give out or melt.

Electrical Tech / High beam to low beam transiton
That is normal as far as I know, as the bulb has two filaments so when the switch is pulled back it is lighting up the low beam filament as well as the high beam filament in the bulb. When you release the switch is it only lighting up one of the filaments as it is supposed to do to prevent the bulb from overheating since it was not made to run with both filaments on.

At least that is what I have noticed in our '87 Cougar, and hope that is all it is...

Drivetrain Tech / Shifter won't go into park?
Okay, my little brother stopped by and showed me what I did. Apparently the steering column turned while it was loose, works like a champ now. Knew it had to be something stupid simple.

Drivetrain Tech / Shifter won't go into park?
Okay, so I did the heater core today on my '85 T-Bird with AOD and I dropped the steering column a little to give the dash a little more room to move out, probably didn't help any but it made it easier in the '92 T-Bird last year :punchballs:

Anyhow, now that everything is all back together I can't seem to figure out why I can't get the shifter to go up to park. I am going to keep looking at it and see what I can figure out, but hoping someone here might have a simple answer for this issue as I have been trying to figure it out for an hour with no luck.
