Mine quit working recently also. Was working great, now just blows hot air. I dont notice the compressor kick on, when I turn the switch.
Where/what are the above mentioned fuses and relays. I didnt see mention of them in the owners manual. __________________
The compressor I can turn by hand. I jumpered the pressure switch and nothing. I checked the voltage at the compressor connector with the pressure switch jumped and had 13Volts.
Is there anything else I can check? Does that mean the compressor is bad or is it the clutch?
Edit, not sure, but I used my Ohm setting and checked the 2 connectors in the clutch switch and they didnt read open, this was with the car off. Not sure if I did it right, or if it means anything ?????
I noticed today at work pulling in to park. My lights (head, park, dash) flickering rapidly, this is very slight, but I am very conscious of things. It is only in gear, and goes away when I shift to park. Low RPM related, I have a used 3G installed. What do I need to do fellas?
Guess Ford is axing Mercury again. I wish they could have redone a Cougar and based it off the Mustang chassis and given it the 5.0 and gone out with a bang!!:burnout:
Guess Ford is axing Mercury. I think Merc should have gone out with a bang and made a 1 model year run of a Cougar. Base it on the Mustang chassis and give it the new 5.0. It could have been awesome.:burnout::burnout:
I tried to paint my rear bumper today, mostly out of wanting to do something with the car. I had already bought the SEM paint earlier.
After researching threads, the factory match was 39163 Med Smoke. I put it on and it just looked too light. Im sure it matched the factory, but I wanted it to be darker to match the side trim pieces better. I bought some 39063 Gloss Black for some other trim on the car. I decided to just spray it on after I wasnt likeing the first 2 coats.
I took a few quick pics, Ill try and get some better ones later. I wish I would have taken before pics.
You can see where the paint just didnt lay right on the passenger side spot, not sure what that was??? Anyway, it isnt perfect, but it is much better.
