Red Fridays

RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority". We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions.

Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of ! showing solidarity and support for our troops with digni ty and respect starts this Friday -and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something red

By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on.

The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is...We need your support and your prayers. Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and wear some thing red every Friday.

**You may not agree with the war, but if you support our troops....this is a good thing to do to let them know that.

I think we could support them by bringing them home safely. I can't wait for the beady eyed moron to be gone - 2 1/2 years & counting - assuming he leaves when his term is over :(

Oh, and this letter has been in circulation for over a year now.

What does it have to do with the media either?

A rah-rah state controlled media was popular in puppies Germany, Communist Russia or even Communist China of today. Even the Bush ass-kissing Faux "news" doesn't talk about this - and they play WH talking points propaganda all day long.

Thank God for Fox news. I am soooo glad there is FINALY a news channel that isn't controled by the normal Socialist press, and the democratic (People for government control) party. Thank God for a president that does what he feels is right, and doesn't go for everyones stinking opinion poll, or the masses, who are as realiable as the weather man, but allot more fickle.

Angel, I don't wear red, anywhere, anytime. Yes, this is an old thread. Also, red is what is worn on Kings Island, on a so called "happy" day.

I have no idea what King's Island is...or their 'Happy Day" for that matter.
I had never seent his before, and it didn't come in an e-mail to me, I saw it on another board and thought that it was kind of a cool idea.

I never wear red. I wouldn't support a war not matter what. But I do wish them a safe return.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
