Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #2 – December 15, 2004, 06:13:14 PM looks like an F150 with a diff. grille. the back is ugly as hell Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #3 – December 15, 2004, 06:17:22 PM It just looks like , I think. Here: (source)http://www.lincoln.com/vehicles/newvehiclepreview/marklt/photos_exterior.aspIt looks like they tacked on a couple cheap chrome-trimmed reflectors on the tailgate just to try and make it look more Lincoln-ish. It looks only marginally better than the ass end of the overdone-for-comic-effect station wagon in National Lampoon's Vacation. Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #4 – December 15, 2004, 06:50:17 PM I liked the old Lincoln Blackwood. This thing is pretty ugly though. Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #5 – December 15, 2004, 09:10:03 PM I believe theyre gonna call this thing Mark 12 or something to that effect. They are shooting for the rich mofookie that says i dont want a Lariat i want somethig lincoln and to tell the truth i kinda like it (im not one for trucks except the lightning or GT-R). And i do believe Linclon did it first with the Black wood Quote Selected

Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #7 – December 15, 2004, 11:17:45 PM I like it. The wheels on this one are pretty cool. Other than the tailgate and grill it looks a lot like the new F-150's. I'm sure the interior will be more luxury than the F-150. This truck was probably not designed to haul very much or tow anything either. It is mainly to look good, kind of like the Cadillac truck. You don't buy a Cadillac truck to haul stuff, you buy it because it looks cool. Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #8 – December 15, 2004, 11:44:30 PM True and i believe that the inside will be lined with the finest white italian leather, that is if they are keeping it the way that i last heard it would be. Quote Selected

Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #10 – December 16, 2004, 03:37:30 AM It is just a minimally-reskinned F-150. Practically just re-badged. I can see the arrogant douche-bags driving this thing already. "Get out of my way! I'm driving a truck and it's a Lincoln! And yeah, Lincoln, way to ize the Mark Series. Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #11 – December 16, 2004, 12:04:29 PM Whatever happened to the Blackwood? Oh yeah, it DIDN'T SELL. I predict the same fate for this truck as well. Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #12 – December 16, 2004, 12:52:15 PM The reason it did not sell is because they did not Market it at all.For the one or two years that it was being sold i only saw one Televison ad. Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #13 – December 16, 2004, 07:45:00 PM I think it would sell pretty good. From what I have seen the new F-150 sells pretty good and if you like the new F-150 they you will probably like the lincoln truck. Quote Selected
Re: Today's sign of the apocalypse: Reply #14 – December 16, 2004, 08:34:43 PM I was gonna reply and say that myself but i figure if you dont like it im not gonna even try and convince some one to like it so i would rather have a Blackwood/ Mark LT vs. thisbecause you wanna talk an ulgy truck there is my choice Quote Selected
