'83/'86 cougar wanted

hey all,
well, i think i am going to give up on restoring my '83 cougar ls with the busted rear axle and the bent up front section.  i just don't have the time, the space, or the tools to finish it.  it's a shame, too, because except for the problems i just mentioned, this is one of the cleanest '83's you'll find.  almost rust free (even underneath) and a near-perfect interior.  it's got the digital dash, which for an '83 is saying something.  and it runs great, at least as far as i can tell letting it run sitting still.  obviously, with the busted rear end, i haven't had it on the road.  it's only got 101k on it, too.  but to my point; i would like to find an as-near-rust-free '83/'86 cougar with a clear title and a decent body.  it could have a blown motor or a ratty interior, or even a busted header panel or bent front fender, because i can take care of any of those situations.  i would more prefer an '85/'86 for the upgraded dash cluster, but i could put my '83 plush red interior in it with the full length console and actual bucket seats and ls door panels and rear interior quarter panels.  the catch seems to be price and location;  i'm limited on both.  i probably can't spend over $300 at most for the car, and it has to be a reasonable distance away.  have i lost my mind, or is there such a car out there?  i just saw an '86 cougar for sale in the for sale section, but he's got me on both price and location.  can anybody hook me up?  i sure appreciate it.

I just did the TC axle swap on my '83 Thunderbird and I still have the old 7.5 laying in my garage. I was gonna say if you were close and wanted it to replace your broken axle you are more than welcome to it.
