Installed new motor mounts today

Got 'em on but not without a fight. They fit the engine and crossmember perfectly and thank goodness Chuck did such a good job engineering these things because there is no room for error here. I'm also glad my heads were off the car and I had loosend my headers. I feel sorry for anyone changing thier mounts with a fully dressed engine. This is definitely a 2 man job requiring a long pry bar.

By the way, when I took off my old driver side mount it came off in 2 pieces. I didn't even know it was broken. I'll post up some pics later. My camera was set on 1024X768 when I took pics so the file size is too big.

Yeah, it seems the stock mounts break rather easily, I hope to have something other than the stock mounts soon, or else another engine that uses a different mount ;)

Yep, that's exaclty what it looked like. I'm glad I got in on the first batch of Chuck's 5.0 mounts. These should last the life of the car. They're pretty heavy duty parts. Quite a bit lighter than the stock mounts too. Especially when you take into account the drivers side tranny brace that I chunked. Here's some pics of the new mounts installed:
