Quarter drain hole March 21, 2006, 11:46:11 PM The drivers side quarter panel seems to have a drain hole, but its plugged with a rubber plug (or something). This side has been getting water in it for the last couple years and just curious if the plug was supposed to be pulled long ago. The passenger side has nothing though. Any reason why? Quote Selected

Quarter drain hole Reply #2 – March 22, 2006, 01:38:26 AM There isn't a drain area at all on the passenger side though...About where the water's getting in, before I thought it was the weatherstrip but turns out thats not it...it isn't through the tail light either. The moulding mounting holes on the side are covered with aluminum tape and primer. There really isn't a logical place the water's coming in and looking in the trunk after pulling in from the rain shows no runs. Its a pita to find the thing Quote Selected

Quarter drain hole Reply #4 – March 22, 2006, 11:50:04 AM Rear window seal...or the trunk corner seal, in the perimeter rim up by the hinge. Sometimes spraying some rubberized undercoating along the bottom edge of the trunk rim helps. Quote Selected
