I changed all the front lights, black-chromed the chrome, will be changing the grille, and already in the process of back-lighting my side valences.

Well, I guess since people are posting pictures, these show one of the mods:

I managed to mount Pilot PL-220 (clear) fog lamps in the stock air-dam openings in my '87 T-Bird (non- T/C, of course). It requires taking off the lower half of the nose and mounting the lights directly to the fiberglass bumper underneath the plastic nose. The trick was to come up with a spacer that let the lights hang low enough so that they sit exactly in the center of the air dam openings...this *will* make you laugh, but the perfect spacer turned out to be sections cut from the plastic handle of a kids' hockey stick (okay, it was all that was available, but it works wonderfully). The stick is just a hair (maybe 1/8" to 3/16") thicker than is needed, but since it's hollow, it will compress to the right thickness as you tighten the bolts down (so make sure your neighborhood hardware store is open so you can get the right length bolts). Lock washers are a must, but once the lights are in and wired (I used a stock panel and switch from a T/C) they make a base car look *so* much better.

folks, thank you very much for your kind words.  It's quite humbling to hear folks refer to something I did with such praise.

quit avoiding the question, how did you do it?  :giggle:

I'm guessing he somehow used those round lights and mounted them to the existing headlight bucket, or the hole through which the headlight harness feeds, or at least a part of it.  How they're secured... no idea.

It's nothing major and besides, everyone will (hopefully) see it at Cat Jam.  (I thought I have already told a bunch of people how I did it?)  Anyway, once you see it, you can see how I did it.
