Gauges - Base to full cluster

My 86' has the base cluster. Will the digital or buttstuffog w/full cluster work in my car, or will I have to modify.

Both will work, but both will require modifications. Your car will need the oil, temp and fuel senders if you go full digital, or it'll need just the oil sender if you go full buttstuffogue. Regardless of the cluster you install the connectors will have to be rewired, as all three have a different pinout. You'll find wiring details for the swap here:

I am thinking of going from the base cluster (digital speedo) to the buttstuffog cluster.  I have the 85 t-bird with the 92 gt engine.  Can I put in the buttstuffog cluster with the oil sender and re-pins and be good to go? I am thinking of doing this rather than installing multiple aftermarket gauges.
