scroll down and read about the fastest neons

Confused, in one of the cars descriptions it say "without the help of a wheelie bar"  WTF are they converting these things to rear wheel, or are they just stating that because it's front wheel drive, it doesn't need one?

The wheelie bar helps keep the front wheels on the ground,  the more they lift the more spinn they have = higher trap times, we are doing the same to my Bros GTP.  I scoffed at it to but it does help.;)

As far as the Neon,  I could really careless whether someone mods one or not,  I just know for 5 grand less than it takes to mod one of those I can be running circles around it.  Just keep in mind the cost to mod a Neon vs a V8.  As far as police  RED attracts police more than any other color and a neon is far more "sporty" looking than an 85 t-bird.  I have a Scoop on mine and have never even been followed by a cop yet i see neons pulled all the time.  Maybe its just here at the beach.  Any way good luck with the mods and Hopefully you'll realise the cost and get the Nice Bird back going :D

Meh, nothing wrong with modding the Neon. I've been thinking about modding my Tib. But it's too new right now and I don't want to take any chances of voiding my warrenty or causing it to become unreliable. That's the reason I bought it afterall. They have a Turbo kit for it that I'm planning to buy once it's payed off along with a bunch of other goodies. I'll definately be out of warrenty by then at the rate I'm going and it will be about time for a new car.

The Cougar is just about where I want it. So with just some restoration work here and there, consider it a cooked turkey... or cat.

Hell, like other people have said: It's your car, do what you want with it. I'd like to put of those on my RSX, but i'm still too cheap.

I also agree with Bird351 - use those Bird parts! Cat Jam is only 7.5 months away, and I ain't havin' no Neon beat the pants off my Cougar when we race. ;)
