A few body/paint questions....

Hello again, y'all....

I have a few questions concerning my 83 t-chicken project....

1. The chrome trim around the windows: how hard is that to get off? I am thinking of powdercoating everything black....
2. This car is a regular T-bird, so it has the chrome rub strip all the way around the car; Does it come off? I know the rear bumper chrome strip is attached by clips, the the side trim is a bonded part...is there a way to paint over the chrome, or to remove it? The car only has 80K on it, but the chrome is discolored and horrible looking...

Well, I thought I had a third question...but I can't remember it..lol...
