I live about 30 miles from ground zero and I disagree with this whole concept.  Sounds like another way to yet keep our Reservists and National guard troops activated for extended periods of time away from their homes and families..... Should we have went into Afghanistan? Yes. Iraq? Maybe.... Canada? Uhhh no.

I know. I'm sure Americans want Canadian Soldiers to have that jurisdiction in the States about as much as we do the other way. And when you consider the fact that our military is about the size of a pea to the size of your Grapefruit, I know you can see why that's so disturbing to me.

I think we should take this whole thing as a wake up call and start properly funding our military up here.
