Re: Easy Question... Reply #1 – November 22, 2004, 01:29:42 AM I think technically they're considered sedans because of the presence of the frame around the door window and the B-pillar. To be a couple the car must only have the pillar at the front windshield and the rear window. Quote Selected

In America a 'hardtop' is usually meant for a vehicle whose small side windows retract, in effect eliminating the B-pillar when all the windows are down. In every publication I've ever seen, though, including Ford's own shop manuals, our cars are listed as 2-door hardtops. But technically they are coupes since they have 2 doors, and you have to fold the seats for rear seat entry/exit. Quote Selected
