Well I have next saturday requested off...so it looks like I'll be getting there sometime saturday morning although I'm not entirely sure when yet (my Rand-McNally tripmaker software says it's a 2 hour trip and Mapquest says it's almost 3 hours...so I'm figuring on 2 1/2). I'll probably leave here around 8 am so hopefully I'll be at the pavilion by 10:30, so when I mosey in and don't know anyone, well...people can start introducing themselves :p

I'll probably stay for the whole day, including dinner.

No other forms of transportation? You could strap on a pair of skates and grab onto passing cars on the freeway. :fart:

Well, just what I was afraid of. Not gonna able to make the drive for the show. I need a drivers side front strut and as of last saturday, it's looking like I also need ANOTHER new altenator. Definately not gonna be able to make the 6+ hour drive with my car in that shape...My bill at the shop is already WAY to high and I doubt my dad will order everything and get it fixed in time for the weekend :( What a bummer.....

Hopefully we will get to see it next year. As far as I know, you have the only street fox car with a shaker. Enjoy your car. One great thing about allot of the cars, is how unique allot of them have become, and still retain the original look of the car. Propably a smart thing not trying to push it to get it ready. Be safe.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to going. I never see any other half decent thunderbirds around here (except my cousin's, his is a custom turbo coupe painted grabber blue/maverick blue with a mach one hood) and I have a hard time getting it in big shows because it's not old enough. I will definately try to make it down for next year and hopefully by then it will have a new motor too, cuz that's the plan for over the winter.

If there are any other "Thunderbird related" shows coming up though, I would love to know when and where and maybe I could make it to one of those.

Hope everyone has a good time and I will definately be waiting for pictures!

Just a last-minute update...

In case you didn't see it, the Sat. night restaurant has changed. We'll now be going to Buffalo Wild Wings in the Southern Park Mall, around the corner from JC Penney's.

Also, it looks like the weather is going to hold out for us. As of now (Wed. 7/19) the forecast is for 80's and lower humidity. CJ luck strikes again. ;)

I've put the restaurant info and weather radar screen on the opening page of the CJ section: http://www.catjam.net

Everyone, have a safe trip here!
