Its apart again

Well pulled topend of the motor apart again.
Checked rockers and bearings then checked roller lifters and still nothing wrong. Pulled heads off and still eveything looks good now signs of anything touching or rubbing.  Looks like i have to pull bottom end out fo the car and keep digging till i find what was knocking in there.

Had help from my son and buddy of mine that stoped by.

Well dont think i spun a bearing.
Knocking was a light knock that sounded like middle of motor.
I did pull one plug off at a time wile the motor was running to see if the knock would change.  If its a bad rod or wristpin when u do this the knock quiets down a bit.

I'm thinking maybe the thrust is gone or something to do with pickup.
Ether way knock is not a death knock its loud enuf u can hear it over the motor and a good 10 feet away

Is that a FRAM oil filter I see? It's kind of hard to tell.
I'd stay away from them. Heard of too many problems due to their poor design and filtering capabilities.

"Middle of the engine"? Could be a cam bearing, lobe or a mushy lifter
