Got into college!!!!

Hey guys, I just got the letter today and I got accepted to Kettering University in Flint Michigan. Its a really cool school because its based on Co-op so maybe I could go work for ford

. So if i went to school in Flint who would I be close too? I'm excited being so close to Detroit and all.

PS. I hate when parents tell you what you like, my dad is annoying like that. He thinks I want to go to all these stupid schools that I don't even want to look at. So hopefully I will get what I WANT to do and not what HE WANTS me to do. parents.

Congratulations. And don't be so quick to your parents. They've got more life experience than you.

And yeah... who's paying for this college? Keep that in mind. If they're paying for it they should at the very least get a say in it. I have $25k of debt waiting for me when I get done with school. Be gratefiul.

I wish my parents would pay for school, considering I'll have 7 years worth when I'm done. I'm loving it here at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I went for a year at Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA for a year since I wasn't sure where I wanted to go yet and my parents thought it would be good for me. Looking back it was an ok school, but I didn't like it at all. My parents agree I made a good decision to transfer. Whether you realize it or not, your parents just want the best for you, even if you disagree with what that is.

Kettering is tough, get ready to study a lot. Co-op is awesome becasue you actually get a job where you are not making coffee all the time. The area is, well, Flint and F Town can be a not so nice place. I am naturally pretty close by ~45 min from Flint when Im not going to school.
