88 Thunderbird test subject, 18% increase in mileage.  Seems I may have to try this out!  That would be about 3-4 mpg each tank full.  Another 60 miles between fill-ups.

Hmm at autozone we sell acetone.  I don't know if it is 100 % though.  Today at work I will buy a bottle if it is pure.

I got some dupli color acetone. It says 100% acetone. I'm gonna put some in my 1984 2.3turbo coupe today when I get gas. I was reading then info and I think I headin for the low side of it I'm going with 2oz/10gal. I hope its cool. I do know a guy that  has been putting it in his mercedes for about 2mo now and he loves it. I'll let you know what I get on this next 10/gal of gas with my 4bagger turbo. sorry only have 20 buck for gas so I guess i'll only be getting about 8gals suck!

The other day my digital dash told me I had 3 gallons left (believe it or not the gas guage is extremely accurate).  I swiped my debit card through the readout on the gas pump, picked up the nozzle and pumped away.  Upon hitting $50 it shut off (my card is limited to $50 at gas stations for security purposes).  I coulda put 4 more galllons in the car

Paul, I think if you ran the card again, you might've been able to fill all the way up, at least I see people do that at my gas station sometimes.  PS - Is that using premium?

I knew it was getting bad when the other day a guy comes in with a chevelle all tubbed out, carbs and blower sticking out of the hood, and he only put mid-grade in the car.

I could have run the card again, it shuts off after $50 PER USE at a gas station.  I just got disgusted and refused to do it though...... Sorry, should have been more specific.  Oh yeah, it was premium $2.91 per gallon.

I filled up the truck for $29 last night. :D Propane hasn't gone up a fraction of a cent. It's still 48.4c/L (gas is 102.9c/L).

I think gas is cheap in Venezuela because for one it's a poor country, and for another they have their own oil down there! I know we import a little from them, but not very much.

Also I got gas the other night....93 was 2.79 a gallon I think, I paid $45 for 16 gallons of gas. That really hurts...

On the bright side, my car averaged 26.7 mpg on the last tank.

OOOH! They came down a bit today! Instead of 112.9 cents it's now 111.9! A whole penny! I save about 80 cents on a fill up now!
