taillight bulb replacement August 17, 2005, 12:26:56 PM i need to replace one of my tail light bulbs, ... now i was just looking at it and am i going to have to take off the entire rear lens to get at the bulb? or can i pull it back into the trunk somehow? im guessing the former...thanks, its an '87 tbird Quote Selected
Re: taillight bulb replacement Reply #1 – August 17, 2005, 12:37:31 PM In the trunk, there's that grey plastic with some sort of felt, or woll, or whatever on it. Undo some of the plastic clips holding it to the rear of the trunk, then just pull the panel away from the area of the tail light. Now grab the bulb socket and twist it. It will pull right out and you can replace the bulb. :) Quote Selected

You have to push to get the actual bulb out of the socket. I was just talking about getting the socket out of the tail light. :) Quote Selected
Re: taillight bulb replacement Reply #5 – August 19, 2005, 09:55:35 PM The socket comes out? News to me. I don't think I've ever changed a rear bulb in either tbird in 6 years. That's strange...*edit*N/M i'm . I know what you're talking about. Leave me alone, I'm on valium Quote Selected
