Cat Jam Video August 04, 2005, 05:31:29 PM Well, I finally got all of my video clips filed away and what-not.I spent about 5 hours building the video today. It's over 4 minutes long and is about 44 mb.The next question is, who can host it for me? I have no website that is capable of such a file, and I'd really like to share this with everyone. Re: Cat Jam Video Reply #8 – August 09, 2005, 11:03:21 AM Zach, I received the CD in the mail yesterday...thank you! GREAT job on the editing. I am having a bit of a problem with getting the file into editing mode in my programs though. Quicktime Pro will play the sound only but doesn't have the component needed to play the video; VLC plays it just fine but I cannot export from it; WMP mockingly laughs at me. I may have to load Premiere on my spare Mac and see what's up. Quote Selected
Re: Cat Jam Video Reply #9 – August 09, 2005, 01:42:04 PM The video is uploading to Jim's website as I type this.I was worried there may be issues with that. We do have another option. I could dump the relevant video clips, images, and music, along with the premiere (.ppj) file on to the required CD(s) and send 'em again. You know a lot more about processing this stuff than I do, so you could open it all up and choose the best method of compression and what-not. The only thing that bothers me about the video is the shaky camera work... I brought my tripod but forgot the mount. D'oh. Quote Selected

I have 5.0 (I think) for PowerPC, running off OS 9. But I'm not positive...it's a program I've only messed with a few times at my old job. Well, if you want, send away...we can definitely try that. I also downloaded a program that should convert your video over to another format (MPEG or MOV). Once I get the video into Quicktime Pro, it's easy to scale and save for the web. Quote Selected

Do you want me to grab all of those files and send a CD? I'd be able to get it in the mail by mid-next week. For the video:If you have any problems running the video, you may need DivX codec for your machine. It shouldn't be too difficult to set up. Quote Selected
