84 5.0 head and cam options Reply #17 – March 21, 2018, 09:48:55 AM I have not seen a detailed swap thread on here but here are some threads that have some info on the topic:http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?35984http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?36165http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?33752Here is one off of SBFTech.com that gets into the details and realize that for the most part this swap is the same as a Fox Mustang.http://sbftech.com/index.php/topic,39.0/topicseen.htmlOne of the guys on here "thewestie" has had a 351W carbed motor in his car for a long time but I believe it is in a 87TC but about the only thing different between the 83-85 and 86-87 cars is the motor mounts. Every other aspect of the swap should be the same. Here are a couple threads over on FourEyedPride:http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?183518http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?182993 Quote Selected

84 5.0 head and cam options Reply #19 – March 21, 2018, 12:33:39 PM It might survive a day or two years. Depends on how much abuse it has had and will get. C6 is really big and I have zero experience with one in a Fox body but I do know a C4 fits like a champ. Quote Selected
