went to the track

Well I went to the track to race for the first time tonight  :D  At first I was not impressed at all. I at least wanted it int he 16's. I was getting 17.3's... The air was very think and hot!! Towards the end of the night I had the priviledge of racing Bob (MARTIN0660). Man is that car fast!! It then started to get better (weather, and my times) so here is my best time of the night...

R/t  .46
60'  2.300
1/4  16.930
MPH  77.5

I was just happy to make it into the 16's! It obviously has a long way to go, but the ball is officially rolling!  :D    I hope to hook up my intercooler here soon, and possibly up the boost from 10#. And purchase a UPR shifter! I missed too many gears tonight sticking me deep into the 17's, and even into the 18's once.  :hick:  :yuck:  So I jsut thought I would tell you all. These were on my street tires btw...

Its a start, he did pretty good for the first time out EVER, with that POS shifter in there, totally stock except a cone filter, and shifting without a tach. The air was terrible last night (I was about 3 mph slower). We got a baseline and lots of parts to start working with.

You may not, but I'm going ot rat him out the next chance I get. I'm looking for a good deal on a clean 83  :flame:
