New project car, screaming deal!!!

Well folks, I stumbled onto an awesome find Friday night that I had to have.  So I went back to the guys house Saturday morning with a down payment and secured the deal.

Its a 92 LX notch back stang rolling chassis.  The car is MINT, comes with everything except motor\trans\rear end.

What really sold me was the cage, a 12 point chromolly with a full interior.  Its got a Basani trunk battery relocation kit with the kill lever, an MSD coil pack and ignition, BBK clutch quadrant kit, Edelbrock shocks, subframe connectors, and a bump steer kit.

Under the hood its totally clean from any oil or dirt.  The car is spotless, black exterior with a clean gray interior.  The guy gave me $300 bucks worth of autometer gauges with it for $100 bucks extra.  And he is selling me the PMS computer for $400 bucks next week.

He also has a set of Cobra R 5 lugs with 275's and 255's Nitto tires for $600, but I broke the bank with the car purchase so I had to pass.

I paid $2,600 for everything I listed, which to me is a smoking deal.  The cage alone costed the guy $2,000.

Unfortunately, looks like I have to put the Turbo Coupe on my dads car lot and send it down the road.  This Mustang is car number 4 for me, gots to make room.

I am bringing an old 8.8 over to the guys house Monday and Tuesday we are trailering it back to my house from downtown Milwaukee, that ought to be interesting.

Personally, I'd say that any "deal" that replaces a TC with an everybody-and-their-grandmother-has-one Mustang is a "deal" that I'd have to pass up. Especially if it involves putting the TC on a car lot where some random person who probably isn't a fan of the car can get it and have their way with it.

I am dropping a rear end off there tommorow, will snap a few shots of it then.  Its like a hour drive for me to the guys house in the city.  You should see this guys garage, you could eat off the floors its so clean.  Just another sign of a meticulous person whome put the car together.

Oh, and my Turbo Coupe is a turd compared to this car, mostly because it was from WI and rusty at one point and I did a bunch of patch panel work done to it.  I would keep the Turbo Coupe if it were in as nice shape as the Notch back, but it is far from it.
