2 more additions today
Car was/is a black/grey 88 XR7. Saw it a month or so back, but went back today and got it it: a full console control panel/ashtray lid, huge improvement over what was in there before, (plate was so badly sun-faded, it was completely silver!!) Dilemma now though, up and down for the windows are backwards, but I could just reverse the wires on the switches, and now I have 3 empty holes where the pwr seat switch goes, what you guys think, leave it, or put black tape over the holes/lettering?
2nd find was a chime module, this is the 3rd Ford I've had that the chime did work, but you could BARELY hear it. This new one is fussy, only seems to work once the interior has warmed up a little (to be fair, it is still cold as hell here). And I have button/speed alarm beeps back now too!
I wanted to grab the delay wiper stalk/speed governor, full buttstuffog cluster, sport wheel and some other stuff, but too cold/didn't have the tools/not enough $.
