"ruby" Reply #30 – April 03, 2014, 04:51:27 PM I'm guessing the guage is off. feels and drives the same, temp guage still sits between n and o on normal regular city driving. leaving it in d going up a steep hill it stays in o. Freeway speeds it gets to n and stays there. old thermostat looked new and opened fully about 195. I think i just wasted time, oh well. Quote Selected

"ruby" Reply #32 – April 04, 2014, 03:32:23 PM My guess is it was wrecked. couldn't be bad because everything looks pretty straight under the hood. the rear bumper only has two bolts on it and the drivers door is mounted a bit too high. there is also bondo above the windsheild that is.cracking away.my guess is it rear ended a truck, or got pushed into it, which would explain damage front and rear. the bondo on the roof really kinda scares me though. when i get the bird back on the road, I'm gonna start sanding and removing paint to see how bad the rust issues really are.car drives amazingly well and straight with no weird problems, other then struts are completely shot.
