If you talk about Tom that way, he's going to get pissed at you.

Seriously though, that's a BRZ, which means you counted wrong.  You need 4 more plugs.

WOW someone has seriously already V8-swapped a BRZ. I would drive the shiznit out of that. I can't wait to see someone do that around here. Are there any Youtube videos of swaped BRZ/FR-S's?

That is 100% true FOE. It was a long day and i was tired.

By the way that FRAM FILTER has been on rides you can not believe. That motor and Fram FILTER made ABSOLUTELY TUNS OF HP. The cost of this project was actually priceless. I would post the 1/4 mile times on this car but you wont believe it anyway. Absolutely priceless. is correct. Dam do up a car and be slammed for a filter. OOPS!!!

By the way just so you dont get to PISSED OFF 302 the filter is a ford one. Fancy that!!

OK how about old glory!!! Red White And Blue. My favorite colors

Take a geritol, and calm yourself pops. You yourself posted awhile back that Fram filters aren't the best in quality. And you really expect me to believe that a fram filter is magically going to add an extra amount of power to ANY engine?
1/4 mile times don't impress me a whole lot. LS engines don't impress me much either. Put a flat head in it, or a 5.0, and I still wouldn't care any more/less than I do now.

I was merely being tongue in cheek over what was probably a 2 to 3 thousand dollar engine swap and you guys used a 4 dollar wal mart shiznit oil filter.

What, no Wix and Royal Purple. Shame.

I don't care that you've built or own faster cars than I probably ever will. You've also probably got more money than I do, but there's a few things that I KNOW I can do better than you, old timer, and those things matter to me more than how fast a goded car is.

One last thing...I don't go back and delete my pics like a bitch when I get called out on something. :flip:

Ok i know you were just funnin but i suspect there is some truth in your post as i seem to piss you off. Just for the record FRAM is one of our sponsors so i have to use there filters. Just for the record that engine Is closer to 12 thousand bucks. Guess it has been a long time since you built a GOOD ENGINE. Wax and royal. DUDE i own a body shop i could care less about the body it is going to be painted this week. Chill out DUDE'

Yes i am an old timer busted my balls in business all my life even during the financial turn down. But there is some thing you should know. Getting old is a fact of life and you will get there. HOPEFULLY. And i just posted those cars because the site was getting a little slow. With that i am old and have a lot of TOYS. And i never look down on anyone for any reason especially about MONEY. I do not care about money . As the matter of fact i give away so much  around the shop it is not funny. I do not play that MONEY shiznit ATTITUDE. I could care less what others have i like people for what they are. Thanks

Man, Beau, you need to take a pill or something. There was nothing wrong with Tom's posting of those pics. If LS swaps don't interest you, don't look at the thread. In fact, if Tom's threads in general don't interest you, don't look at them. You complain about Tom ruining other peoples' threads and here you've done just that.

I thought Tim's pics were pretty cool, and I'll wager so did most others, because an LS powered BRZ is just plain cool.

I didn't notice the filter...but I won't lie I usually balk at that when I see a clearly top-notch build with a bottom-of-the-barrel oil filter. Obviously FRAM filters can't be too bad otherwise they'd be out of business. http://wetwesties1.tripod.com/oilfilterstudy/  I'm definitely not "thrilled" by this guy's findings of FRAM filters, though the Teflon comment I'm not sure about. He says "DuPont" does not recommend Teflon enter an engine...but just how much is in the filter anyway? Is cardboard-and-glue in an oil filter a problem? Maybe, maybe not. I'd rather not, I stand by using Motorcraft filters for anything I can find that they fit in. They are a top-line Purolator at a cheaper price apparently.

Are you going to beat the shiznit out of the thing every day? No? Then I bet you can probably hold off on overzealously using the most expensive consumables. In any case one ought to not cut corners on anything with a high-performance engine. But what does it come down to? "Why do I wanna spend more than $2-$5 on an oil filter? Look at this thing, probably costs a dollar to make!" Who's gonna say that to themselves? People at all levels of income. And if you get away with it once...what's the lesson learned in your brain? "Must be fine, carry on!"
