My Honeymoon pix

Yep, I tied the knot last week.  We took a nice road trip to Michigan.  Here's some of the neater things we saw:

I don't know wtf this is, but I spy a lincoln front...

This house is where John Wayne grew up (at one point in his life).  Check out the van!

Here's me at one of the covered bridges in Winterset, IA (the place where that chick flick with Clint Eastwood, The Bridges of Madison County, was filmed).  The wife is in the next pic.

We HAD to go to the Ford Museum while in Michigan:  Look at this beautiful GT40.  Among the cool cars was an 86 Taurus, complete with a flat tire.  :D

One more pic of the bird here.  We also went to Hell (tee hee) while in MI.  On the way back we stopped by the Field Of Dreams in Dyersville, IA.

That's it.  We had a great time, but I'm happy to be back home.  The 95 Cougar made the 1000+ mile trip without incident.  Time to get back to reality now!

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Congratlations on tieing the knot....

Yea I really enjoyed the HF museum as well, especially the Bill Elliott Tbird.

BTW the Taurus' tire was still holding air when I was there in '98... I would think they would at least put a small wooden block under the controll arm, so it will set level and look inflated.
