Just my luck... Reply #16 – April 25, 2013, 12:11:25 PM If it runs better unplugged, then obviously its feeding exhaust into the engine when it shouldn't be. Replace it. It's stupid common for EGR valves to get stuck open by either debris or corrosion (the EGR passages of an engine are not a friendly place). When you replace it, get an EGR gasket with a screen in it.
