Sold this one in July 2008.
Really liked that truck but I needed a truck to pull trailers.

That big white ford is a piece of meat...would be abit slow without the turbo...

What do you tow with, one of the 460 jobs? Even the newer one, probably showing my ignorance but I would think even a 6.9 IDI would have more torque than that? So many people say the EFI 460 as it came stock just sucks fuel and doesn't get much work done. Is *that* more myth than fact?

Part of that myth is wrong...part is right.
Yes, the EFI 460 sucks fuel.
However, it has good low rpm torque.
With everything in the pic, the dually pulls good enough for me.

The carb 460 crew cab has a little more power...however it was the engine that came out of the 87 Turbo Coupe and has a cam and compression upgrade.
They both do fine pulling 7500 lbs.

The black cc gets 8.5 mpg towing 7500 lbs.
A new gas truck might get 10 mpg towing if your lucky.

I'm a gas truck fan myself.
Diesel trucks make more power and get better mileage, but are much more expensive to buy and maintain, but most important, to repair.

I paid 2500 for that purple dually.

1970 Impala Custom coupe. I'd love to have another one of these, my first old vehicle. Didn't have it for very long until the frame decided to let go on me. Ended up selling it to some guy restoring another 70.

I was an idiot to sell this, 85 Elan 302. interior was absolutely perfect.

py pictures I know, but if anyone in Ohio sees this car contact me. According to the BMV it's still in my name, last seen in the Dayton area, 75 Buick Electra 225 custom. has stupid stickers all over the back window, has truck tires on the back, has a black steering wheel from a Chevy Van. VIN #4v37t5h431210

I miss my '85.... not gone but it's been sitting in a garage untouched mostly for about 5 years now.  I wish I'd never gotten rid of the matching 'sister car' '84 TC I got for $350.... Oh that 'TARBO' sound.

First car...1984 T Type. HATED the wheels. Wrecked it and busted one of the factory wheels, so my old man took me to his friends shop, said I could have whatever he had. I was pissed he couldnt get my first thirteen choices, so they pushed me to get these because in their eyes, they were similar to the wheels I wanted. Man, they were horrid.

Saw this on the road yesterday, and almost caused a wreck getting over to check it out. Another 84, and it hadnt been converted. Im not messing with another Hot Air car. Clean though. 86/87 gn interior, wanted 7500.
