Needing a transmission bad Reply #4 – December 27, 2012, 12:52:42 AM The sn95's had the longer input shaft and bellhousing. I've heard you can use either one, but match them. Its about 3/4" further back on 94-95 5.0 and 94-04 v-6's. Quote Selected

The 95 cobra r is the rarest of the t-5s yes it works yes you need a different bellhousing and no a standard t-5 rebuild kit will not work. The 95 is good for around 600hp and is a great trans. I did have to trim the opening in the tunnel for the shifter( mine was auto). Also the input shafts are different 28 spline instead of 10 Quote Selected
