Also remember, when you lower the front of your car, you really need to have an alignment done as well.

I have mach 1's on the front, bullits on the rear, personally I think machs are aX bit to soft. The front dropped about an inch. You need adjustable rear arms to raise it,mine are almost maxed out to level the car.

Wow 0_0 that is one beatiful bird...Much props..However..can you rewrite what you were saying in comparing the springs..It is cut off on my screen..Thanx

No, they're different.

To clarify, the V6 front springs are a linear rate (395#) vs the progressive rate of the V8's, and can have a much lighter load rating.

The rears are also a linear rate of 190#, but the load ratings are fairly comparable to the V8's.

My mistake, but, I will say this, the V-6 springs have been great on the Sport. Good ride, and handles well also.

I'm curious:  Did you need adjustable height rear control arms, or are you running the V6 springs at the installed height?

I think the V6 springs would be a good match for our cars for someone looking for a "newer" replacement.  The load ratings on the front of the V8 springs are kind of high vs what they were for the 83-88 TBird stuff.

I have CHE non-adjustable arms. The springs were simply removed and replaced.

Thanks for the info.

I think that's the route I'll take, except without the CHE arms.  For now...
