That's a long way to peddle. From Jersey to Florida? Hope you got a basket on the handlebar to hold your stuff at least.

no no, for a spare lol i won't ride my bike more than 5 miles because of the gear set i have on it..  anyone who's ever riden bmx would know that a 44 front/10 back is no fun to keep pedaling, unless you want leg muscles the size of your upper torso LMAO

Well you certainly won't be bored then. :) Feel free to stop by for a bit if you want. Were only about 15 mins from I 75 which you will probably be taking on your way to tampa.

ah yes you do need to see it. I need your expertise in aftermarket turbo systems lol.

There are some nice trails here too. We live 10 minutes from the Florida Greenway, which I know sounds like a giant golf course but is acutally the leftovers from a failed project in the 60's to basically duplicate the Panama Cbuttstuff across FL. It left for some very cool landscapes, and IMO some of the coolest scenery in all of FL is right here. But the greenway actually runs the width of central fla and I think starts up there where you're headed. That might be some of those trails you're talking about. But what's really cool about it is you can acutally start on either side fo the state, and with the exception of a few minor detours, basically trail ride from one coast to the other. I rode out one the nearby trailhead a couple years ago a good 6-7 miles out to the "landbridge" they built that spans the over I 75 and you just ride right over. It's pretty cool. Riding back was not though lol. A 12 mile ride for someone who hadn't ridden in about 6 years prior was a bit much lol.

This is a pretty cool vid of the Vortex trailhead which is the one I'm closest to. I don't have a bike or a helmet so I can't ride out there, but I love to go out and hike there. There's a ton of cool stuff. I've climbed 30' of vertical cliff wall out there twice, I'm looking for a new spot next time to do it, they have about 25' of underground cave that goes deeper at the end but you need a rope and a helmet light to get down so I've never done it, and just awesome scenery. Some badass bike trails too. Expert stuff. Huge jumps, I'm talking like 15' off the cliffs down to landing ramps, lots of trails next to the cliff edges, a lot of stuff that could easily get you killed or maimed. You know, fun stuff lol. If I ever get a weekend off of work again I'm going to go out there again soon.
