Shop/House Warming: UPDATE 5-3-12

Hi all, I'm in the planning stages of a "house/shop-warming" get together. The wife and I want to do this sometime in mid to late May. We need to get an idea of how much food and beverages to plan for. We'll have more of an exact in date April.

P.S. Mods feel free to move this to an appropriate section if not good here  :D

OK, we are thinking along the lines of the last weekend of May/ first weekend of June. That will give us 2 months to move stuff and to start getting the garage repaired and maybe painted.
Also the guy that had rented the shop wanted to stay for an additional 3 months. I said fine but......I needed to get my car in there seeing how I may be changing jobs before that. He changed his mind and is still supposed to be out at the end of this month.
Let me know If you're able to attend. Still need to get party supplies

Thanks
John

Ok. So the guy that had rented the shop prior to our purchase, is going to be out (keeping fingers crossed) this coming Saturday. Then the push will start to get things cleaned, moved, and at least started with the repairs to the garage. I have to replace all the sheet rock and redo alot of the electrical. I may or may not have the new garage door up but it is closed off for now. Will keep updating when I can.

Hope to see you here
John

Well, the house/shop warming is going to have to be put off for a couple of months. The wife is having knee surgery on the 15th and will be off of work for a min of 2wks or up 8wks depending on how much repair work the doc has to do. I'll keep you all posted.
