True, but that wasn't the bad part. It was the 6 stripped head bolts and a bracket going to the trans and head that we couldnt get to the bolt on the trans to take off. Reply #18 – December 21, 2011, 10:46:40 PM Years ago when my wife was young, she had a 6cyl '70 Nova that used a little oil(was long before I met her)... Anyway her dad said, "it'll need oil once in a while" and did show her how to check the level... Well her being a natural blond, the add once in a while was the only part that stuck... After some time the car would barely run, so she took it the service station that normally did their flat fixes, repairs etc... Yep it was over filled by five quarts... Quote Selected
