NOTE: i am NOT a star trek nerd, it came up in google search lol

And just WHAT is wrong with liking Star Trek? :beatyoass:

Had another email Tues

Quote
I was just wondering if you could make me some motor mounts and if so how much they might cost me. I am building a Jeep CJ7 and I am putting a 351 Windsor in it so I was looking for motor mounts and found you.

While closer, still no.  Some folks just don't get the fact that to make custom mounts it requires having both the car AND the engine handy (OR 3D CAD drawings of both)...which I don't have, in either case.

it's boring, it's extremely unrealistic, it's boring, william shatner is a tool, it's boring.. should i go on? lol i only like movies/tv shows that are realistic, i don't know what people see in sci-fi movies.. but that's just my opinion, so i shall counter your bat-carrying smilie with 2! bat-carrying smilies :beatyoass: :beatyoass: :giggle:

as for the last email you received..

i believe there is a company that builds windsor-to-heep cj mounts.. i've seen quite a few of these swaps in the past couple years, both at shows and out in the woods.. i believe said-company makes long-tube headers as well

The Shat is awesome and has been since he learned to have a sense of humor about himself.  Sorry you were born with a limited imagination and can't appreciate Sci-Fi. ;)

You oughtta go to a klingon thanksgiving. My dads friend is or was head editor for iscifi.com years ago. He invited us over and we ate klingon food and couldn't speak with out a klingon-engish translator book.

Nothing wrong with star trek. I wouldn't cosider myself to be a trekkie, but I can appreciate other people using it as a distraction from everyday life. Some people do take it to extremes though.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Probably 15... I can think of 10 off hand, and I haven't seen every one or have watched most of the new ones.

i guess it doesn't help that when i watch TV, i pause it and wait a while before i start watching, so i can skip commercials.. the fact that i don't know any trekkies doesn't really help the fact either lol
