You are partially correct in that some of the Ford paint looks like it has larger flakes. Some of it is a course aluminum flake and some is a Mica. The Kona Blue has 2 toners to give it the "Metallic" look, a powder mica and a blue pearl. Loved the color, just not enough twinkle. Quote Selected
