Looking good.
Kona blue is a nice color. It was the second color choice behind grabber blue when we went looking for a Mustang. Grabber blue won. I think Kona works with the lines of a T-bird very well. These cars tend to look better with dark colors.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

I would tend to agree with you, but I think it has more to do with the darker colors making the style lines, such as those on the rear of the roof panel of the 84-86 'Birds, more visible. You can still see and appreciate the lines when using lighter shades, but the lines tend to blend more.

Well, I just finished painting the doors, fenders and header panel....... They're Blue. I'll post pics tomorrow morning. Closing down the shop and getting ready to head home and to bed. Later :D

It's lookin better than I had hoped. After I get the rest of the parts painted, I'll wait a couples 3 weeks before I cut and buff everything.

Well it looks like I'll be painting the body in the next couple days. :evilgrin:  I was supposed to have a hard hit malibu come in tomorrow but they rescheduled to next Monday. Darn double edged sword :mad:

I might have missed it but are you going to pinstripe it? add a accent color?
