IE explorer dropped to under 90% of browser market and firefox jumper up to like 6% guess what. firefox has just annnounced updates to fix security leaks in their browser. If the Mac gots every got up to like 8 to 10% of market they would be attacked also. I like the moped buttstuffogy

I've been getting some prescription spam for quite a few years. Best one is for pen 15 enlargement. I get a kick out of those...I mean, come on, I've been pulling on the  thing for over 20 years now. If it ain't bigger by now, no pill's gonna do it.

You guys ever see the ads for the creams?  If it works there how come your hands don't get huge too?

The latest version of firefox anyone could consider there new browser.  Its nothing like opera were it doesn't work and nothing like netscape were it seems like your a sellout to a new internet fad company.  I use it and love it.

Oh and I use a pc but if I could afford to get something that would run os 10 I would have it.  C'mon have any of you even tried it.  Its really cool with its flashy moves and spinning boxes I mean thats why I should like it right?

I will guaran--tee you that most Mac people are more honest than a lot of PC users.

That's comedy gold right there.  Funnier than the pen 15 pulling joke.

Seriously though I can usually tell right away whether the person I'm talking to uses a Mac or a PC.

Seriously.

That is true...Mac users won't be the ones asking how to configure something.  :tg:

And they're the ones who think they have stuff that's twice as powerful as it actually is.. :p

Because it's all pre-configured for them so they don't have to do anything.

You show me a dishonest PC user and I'll show you a lazy Mac user.

You're forgetting that I help people configure computers over the phone for a living.  About 5% of our call volume is Mac users.  About 5% of home computers are Macs.  It's not the computer, it's the person.

Lazy, Jim? I can't see that. Mac users simply don't have to screw around with their computers to get them to WORK the way they're supposed to. If that's laziness, so be it. Until everyone here has tried one, or used OS X, then I don't see a valid reason why people should throw stones.

Back to the virus/spam thing...has anyone gotten the spam written in Cyrillic yet? That's another fun one. At least spammers are broadening our language awareness. ;)

I have a Mac with OS X sitting on my desk right next to the Windows XP machine.  Macs are great machines and they work well.  But I don't see anything about it that makes it any better than a PC.  Windows has to be designed to run on literally hundreds of thousands of different combinations of hardware made by thousands of different companies over the course of several years and subsequent changes in technology.  Macs are all in-house.  The hardware and software are designed to work in concert with one another.  The result is a smoothly running efficient, expensive machine.  Nothing wrong if that's your cup of tea.

I prefer a less expensive machine I can customize until my heart's content and after I'm done building it I can go buy whatever software I want that will do whatever I want it to do.

Now I'll go over there and pick up the stone I threw.  Hope it didn't hit your flat screen Mac display.  Because I don't have the $12,000 I would need to buy you a new one.  :p

Because Mac-ites are usually fanatics who won't hesitate to throw stones at PCs every chance they get.
