Must be something in the air...

I can usually go years without seeing a Fox thundercat locally. Yesterday on the way home I followed an '87 anniversary Cougar for about 8 miles. That was a rare treat. Then today, I was road testing a car for work and passed a nice 87-88 TC on the highway. Two Thundercat sightings in two days!

Can't wait to get into another one...

I finally met the guy here in town who own's a black TC and invited him over here. Other than that there are two other foxes that I know of in my area... an white 87/88 LX and a sweet black 4-eyed bird. I've seen those two around town a few times in the last couple years but I have yet to be able to corner them lol. I haven't seen any others.

I have been seeing a lot of them around here in the past 3 or 4 months. Lots. The sad part is of course they weren't being taken care of.... But I did see a nice 87/88 TC in a Hardees parking lot that was in really nice shape, I see it there often now, must be someone's who works there.

I saw an 87/88 bird parked at Walmart, and possibly the same one driving through town the day before yesterday. That's about it though, and I don't think I've ever seen another 4 eye around here.

I ran across a kid that's got an 87/8 TC. We talked for a bit about his car & I gave him a card for the forum. I also let him know about Dyno Day 2, coming up, as well.

There's another Fox 'bird I see parked, locally & one I see a lot, in Pulaski, TN, when I go there. As far as Cougars, haven't see any Foxes around.

There is a 87-88 cougar with a 4 eye front end running around my town.  The thing's pretty thrashed though.  Other than that a sighting is pretty rare.

Its getting to the point where younger people don't even know what these cars are.  I did have two high school boys ask me if I had a "5-oh" in my car at a gas station the other day, so that gave me hope that this younger generation isnt all about rice burners.  lol.

There's a guy about 5 blocks from where I work that has a dark blue 88 T-bird Sport in pretty decent shape. That's the only other Fox T-bird/Cougar I see in the area besides mine.

I don't see too many since I moved, but in my old town there was at least 10 different ones still on the road. I had a better view than most though, since I spent all day driving around town for my job.

There were hundreds of thousands sold but the problem is that now they are so old that nobody wants them except for us crazies and so they send them to the syards, lots of times even while they're still in decent running shape. So there aren't many left anymore...:(

Same road, so probably. It used to belong to a member here (87anniv) but he sold it just before I sold mine. He'd probably have had kittens if he knew it was being winter driven.
