boost creep May 10, 2011, 05:11:52 PM Ive tried a few different combos with the vacuum lines and nothing will hold boost at one level. Any suggestion with what i can do? diagrams and pics will help out alot!! ive looked at a few pics and diagrams and they didnt work. Quote Selected
boost creep Reply #1 – May 10, 2011, 06:06:57 PM This on the stock t3? If so, the only way you're going to control it is either port the wastegate hole, or go external. Mine - unported head, bo 1.5, e6, 3" exhaust - at 18psi above 5000, it creeped to 25psi. I dont have a ported wastegate hole either. Mines a .48 T3 though too. Quote Selected

boost creep Reply #3 – May 10, 2011, 08:05:52 PM Typically you need to enlarge the hole thats in the exhaust housing, depending on how much you port it, determines if you need to get a new flap, sometimes the flap is big enough. Quote Selected
boost creep Reply #4 – May 11, 2011, 01:06:32 PM oh wow thats more than what i want to do. thank you very much for the help. i'll just make some goofy way up for it to get close (last time it involved using a hose clamp on the tube itself to cut down the airflow after it went to the boost controller and it it only went up one pound of boost creep!)
